Dr. Rowe’s Bio
I am a Knoxville native with over 20 year of teaching experience. I have taught in public elementary and middle schools, colleges, and co-ops both in person and virtually. My Bachelor’s degree is in Elementary Education, my Masters’ is in Literacy (both from MTSU), and my PhD. is in Reading Education (from UT). I love literacy of all kinds (reading, writing, art, podcasts, graphic novels, etc.) and love to incorporate a variety of literacy skills in my lessons. As a published writer, I often write my own curriculum. I am married and have twins in high school. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping, puzzles, board games, baking, and of course, reading! Thank you so much for allowing me to teach your child! I am so excited to see what we will accomplish together!
