Ages 5-8 Guides

These Literature guides are a collection of picture books (usually three in each collection). It is not necessary to read the picture book, though it will enhance the literature guide to do so. The guides are easily adapted to younger ages (5/6) by completing less activities and focusing on writing, labeling, drawing, and personal responses. Ages 7 and up may need more of a challenge, so including grammar, mechanics, and research adds the element of appropriateness for those ages. These guides also contain cross subject matter (math, geography, art, etc.) to round out your theme study.

The text titles are listed below the collection title. Click on the image or link to see a sample of the guide.
