Teaching

I love cooperative work and hands on project-based learning! I am a social constructivist, so I think students learn best when they are in collaboration with others (peers, teachers, younger friends, etc.). Most of my activities are designed as such.

I also love interdisciplinary study. That is really just a fancy way to say "theme" studies. When I am creating lessons, I am always trying to imagine all the possible learning opportunities present in the tasks. My love of literature means that many of my classes and activities are literature based (even my geography and history classes are literature based!). Reading is the heart of education for me!
