This course is designed to explore the messiness of writing! We’ll spend class time working on generating ideas and brainstorming, which will act as a springboard for future writings. This is a great place to start if students are hesitant to write or are always saying, “I can’t think of what to write about!” When students leave, they will have many story and essay ideas. Materials will be provided electronically. Each week, a writing assignment will be given and when class meets again, students will have the opportunity to share their writings. This class is designed to associate writing with fun so that a positive relationship with writing will be established.
