This course is designed to teach students the skills they need to write about what they have been reading. Why do we need to know how to do this skills in the first place? We write about what we've read as a way to respond to the readings with our personal thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Furthermore, when we write, we often think about our ideas carefully.
